Friday
Meet us on the slopes for some skiing! You will need to buy a lift ticket from Sun Valley directly, or check that Sun Valley is included on your pass.
For lunch, we will provide hot dogs and beer at the Warm Springs day lodge (bottom of the Warm Springs lift) starting at noon.
There is a welcome party in downtown Ketchum at Warfield Distillery & Brewery (280 N Main St), at 6 o’clock until around 10 o’clock — all (including kids) are welcome.
Saturday
Shuttles will be arranged from downtown Ketchum and the Sun Valley Lodge. There is also plenty of parking at the venue, but no overnight parking.
The shuttle pick-up locations are Hotel Ketchum, the Limelight Hotel, and the Baldy Bus Loop at the Sun Valley Resort. The first shuttle is at 5:30; a second pass will be made after the first drop-off for those that missed the 5:30 departure. Shuttles will start returning guests after dinner as desired until the end of the reception.
The ceremony is at six in the evening at the Sun Valley Club.
The ceremony will be outside, unless rain or high winds prevail.
The reception will be inside at the same venue, immediately following the ceremony.
Unfortunately, space at the venue is limited, so we cannot include children (although they are welcome at all events on Friday).
The requested attire is “black-tie optional,” which for some might mean a tuxedo (or something tuxedo-adjacent), or a long dress, or something else; we trust your judgment.
The entree options are:
Prime rib of beef, served with Idaho baked potato, green beans, blistered tomato, and jus
Horseradish-crusted salmon, served with potato gnocchi, Swiss chard, asparagus, beech mushrooms, and lemon beurre blanc
Portobello mushroom Napoleon: a grilled portobello mushroom, with roasted red pepper, ribbon squash, grilled red onion, hummus, and cherry tomato (vegan and gluten free)
